The Bolex H-16 de luxe manual is missing. There are ones earlier and others later on line. It is the one for shutter speeds that are listed as being 1/35 sec at 16 fps.. It must be for cameras from serial number 55,000 to 94,201 or from 1950 - 1954.
Do you have such a manual?
Shutter speeds are the issue here. They changed, a lot. That makes it very difficult to use older 16mm Bolex equipment. But I think I've got this one nailed down. All that is missing is the specific manual with pictures of the features on the camera to prove it.
I have two older manuals and one newer manual. All have been made into functioning webs along with a pdf of a newer one found on line somewhere. The one missing falls inbetween.
Please look at all your Bolex 16mm manuals and find out what the shutter speed is for 16 fps. If your copy says to use 1/35 sec at 16 fps that is the one we want. Make some large scans and put them up in a zip file; I'll make a neat web of them with next and back functions as already done for other manuals.
